The NB Department of Transportation and Infrastructure has announced that intermittent closures of Harbour Bridge will occur approximately two to three times per month until early November. Closures will be scheduled between 6:00 pm and 7:00 am and are expected to last a maximum of 20 minutes.

Please check for updates from The City of Saint John through saintjohn.ca and the City’s Facebook page. DTI will also update information on 511 and electronic signs along Route 1 at least two days in advance of each closure.

Due to tide-constrained loading from July 22–28, Northumberland Ferries will operate with restricted vehicle capacity on some sailings and has cancelled others. We highly recommend that all travelers secure a reservation in advance, as standby availability will be limited.
