Travel with Pets - The CAT
Cats and dogs are welcome on board The CAT. There are two options available when travelling with your pets.
Exception: Documented service animals on-leash are permitted on the interior passenger deck.
They Remain In Your Vehicle
Access to vehicle decks is not permitted during the crossing. Crew members monitor the area and we will alert you via an announcement if your pet appears uncomfortable.

- Ensure they have water and ventilation – open vehicle windows!
- Pets may not go up to passenger decks, either indoor and outdoor. Exception: Documented service animals.
- Safety regulations require that all passengers, including pet guardians, leave the vehicle decks and go to the passenger areas for the duration of the crossing.
