Update to Fares

On August 1, 2025, the Government of Canada made ferry travel in the Maritimes more affordable with a 50% fare reduction on services between Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We’re pleased to pass these savings on to our customers.

Details

• New fares became effective on August 1, 2025
• New rates are a 50% reduction on the pre-August 1 fares, including vehicle, passenger, foot passenger, commercial rates and fuel surcharges
• Applicable to fares only; onboard food or retail not included
• Reservations made at the old rates (up to July 31) for sailings in August and beyond are automatically receiving a 50% refund
• Refunds are processed to the original form of payment; completion date is August 31, 2025
   

Note:

• 2024 NFL Frequent Traveller Booklets with unused passes will be refunded 50% based on the original purchase price per pass
• NFL single passes used for travel on or after August 1 will be refunded 50% of the original purchase price
   

Travel Prior to August 1

This initiative is a time-bound program introduced by the Government of Canada, and as such, only travel occurring on or after August 1, 2025, is eligible for the reduced fare.
