Update to Fares

On August 1, 2025, the Government of Canada made ferry travel in the Maritimes more affordable with a 50% fare reduction on services between Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This discount applies to vehicle, passenger, foot passenger, commercial fares and fuel surcharges. Reservations made at the old rates (up to July 31) for sailings in August and beyond will automatically receive a 50% refund. Refunds are processed to the original form of payment; completion date is August 31, 2025. View revised fares below.

Travel for no fee from Nova Scotia to PEI on standby. Boarding is subject to availability based on vehicle type or height, not necessarily “first-come, first-served”. For guaranteed boarding, make a reservation by booking a Round-Trip or a Flexible One-Way Fare.
